ItвЂ™s been a hell of a long time since I played this game but it certainly sounds a whole lot more content rich than Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017) did at launch. There's no doubt it's a flawed experience, carrying with it glaring. In Star Wars Battlefront 1, the gungans will use the same EMP grenade as the republic clone trooper. The Gungans of Naboo only have 2 skins, just for visual differences. Droidekas are fantastic for killing Gungans in large numbers. Their only weapon is a Thermal Detonator, so just avoid them they only have 20 of these. Like the prequel trilogy before it, Battlefront 2 is already a divisive piece of Star Wars lore. The Gungans have quite low Health a few shots will kill them. In an age of content light games, youвЂ™ll be pleased to know there are 20 characters to pick from, 20 different playable characters, four factions, 16 maps, and more than 30 unique vehicles. With overly complex multiplayer and progression systems, Battlefront 2 saves itself from Jar-Jar status with a strong story and competent core gameplay. It's showing its age, for sure, but the inclusion of AI soldiers was, and still is, a big draw for those who just want to mess about.

ThereвЂ™s a big heap of maps to play in Galactic Conquest, which is basically BattlefieldвЂ™s Conquest mode, as well as the story-based Historical Campaigns which takes players on a galaxy-trotting journey through the biggest battles in Star Wars history. ItвЂ™s a bit of a surprise that EA has resurrected such an old game, to be honest, but Star Wars Battlefront is now playable with full-blown multiplayer support for up to 32 players.

PandemicвЂ™s original Star Wars Battlefront from 2004 has just launched on Steam and GOG, providing a new chance to explore this classic Battlefield-a-like.
